On the 28-07012 at around 11.30 pm a thirty-one-year-old male was driving through Melton when a tennis ball was thrown at his motor vehicle. The driver stopped and was then attacked by four males of African appearance and sustained stab wounds to his stomach and was treated at Western Hospital in a serious condition.
