On Friday the 21-09-10 at around 10.10 pm three males, aged forty, sixty-seven and eight five years were travelling by train from Richmond to Pakenham after being at a rugby league game together.
The train arrived at Pakenham Railway Station at around 11.10 pm at which time the three men became involved in an altercation with two males of Pacific Islander appearance.
The forty year old was struck to the head with a bottle and causing him to fall onto the train tracks.
The sixty-seven and eight five year olds sustained facial injuries.
The three victims were treated at the Dandenong and Alfred Hospitals.
The assailants were described as being in their twenties and of muscular appearance and who fled the scene in a dark coloured four wheel drive motor vehicle.
