On Monday the 27th February 2017 at around 12.20 pm a woman aged in her twenties was alone in her Eva Street home in Clayton when she heard someone enter the house. She was then confronted by an unknown male who instructed her to go back to her room. The offender then entered the victim’s room and told her to face the wall while he rummaged through her possessions. Eventually the offender fled stealing a number of items including two mobile phones and a tablet device and the victim then ran to a nearby friend’s house and called the police. The offender was described as Caucasian, about 170cm tall with a medium or large build, a tanned complexion, an unshaven beard, short brown hair and wearing grey shorts and a white/green/yellow checked tee shirt. Monash detectives are investigating the aggravated burglary.
