On the 26-04-16 at around 3.00 am a male armed with a hammer and a knife entered a convenience store on Canterbury Road. The offender threatened the shop attendant demanding cash and after being handed a small amount of cash fled the scene in a stolen Nissan Pulsar travelling towards Box Hill. The motor was subsequently found burnt out in Doveton two days later. Box Hill Embona Task Force detectives are appealing for public assistance.
