On Friday the 06-09-13 just after 6.30 am two male offenders wearing black balaclavas and armed with knives entered the newsagency on Napier Street in Strathmore. The offenders attacked and assaulted the two employees, kicking and punching them, resulting in the victims sustaining minor injuries. The offenders stole cash from the register before fleeing in a white motor vehicle. Fawkner Embona police are appealing for witnesses to the armed robbery.
