On Tuesday the 10-03-15 at around 2.00 pm a sixty-six-year-old male was driving through Collingwood when he became involved in a verbal altercation with four male cyclists. The elderly victim stopped his motor vehicle on the corner of Brunswick Street and Alexandra Parade in Fitzroy where he was approached by two of the cyclists who repeatedly struck his motor vehicle with a heavy metal object shattering the windscreen and the driver’s side window. Police are appealing for public assistance regarding the assault.
