On the 30-04-13 at around 830 pm a male aged in his fifties was attacked on Drummond Street in Carlton by four dogs. The attack lasted several minutes during which the victim sustained injuries to his arm, leg and back and was treated at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. Police arrested three men, aged from twenty-two to thirty-one years, at the scene. Bystanders attempted to assist the victim and threw garbage bins at the dogs during the attack.
