On Friday the 15-02-13 at around 9.40 pm a forty-three-year-old male victim was walking his two dogs on Hodgins Road in Hastings when he became involved in an altercation with two men and a female on mini bikes. The victim was physically assaulted with a fence post and sustained serious injuries and was treated at the Frankston Hospital. One of his two dogs was kicked and killed and the other dog ran away. The assailants then fled along Hodgins Road on their mini bikes.
