On Friday the 12th July 2013 at around 5.00 pm an armed robbery took place at a jewellery store on High Street in Hastings on Victoria’s Mornington Peninsula. During the robbery a male and a female were shot. The male victim was treated by ambulance paramedics but passing away a short time later. Melbourne homicide detectives are investigating the shooting.
