A university in England is the first to establish a Victim Support Outreach Centre on campus.
Organizers said that “The project is about giving victims of crime on campus more support…students tend not to report crimes to the police, so they don’t always access the support available”.
The units will also be manned by volunteer students.
A great initiative for Australian Universities to follow as many students are victims of crime and often fail to seek support.
