Lawyers are appealing the life sentence of the offender who stabbed his two-year-old daughter to death. The two year-old has had her life taken away and her mother and her other family members have been given a life sentence of pain and suffering. The appealing lawyer went on to add as part of his argument that the offender ‘found the custodial setting difficult’. It is jail. It is not meant to be easy. I wonder if the daughter of the appealing lawyers was murdered at such a young age and in such a horrible fashion if they would feel that a life sentence is inappropriate.
