On the 07-07-12 at around 12.30 pm the male victim was waiting for a train when he was set upon from behind and thrown to the ground by a male assailant who then punched the victim more than thirty times to his face and head before the assailant fled in a green Ford motor vehicle. Witnesses at the train station attempted to intervene and the assailant is described as being of Islander appearance and around six foot tall.
