On the 12-10-12 at around 8.50 am a man attempted to abduct an eleven-year-old girl in Doreen. The unknown male assailant approached the young girl and tried to convince her to get into his motor vehicle by pretending that her mother had asked him to collect her. The male was driving a dark blue utility with a canopy at the back which had two rear tinted doors.
