On Saturday the 27-10-12 at around 10.00 am Ambulance Paramedics attended a call at a Dandenong Hotel where a female was suffering from abdominal pain. Police were soon called after the female’s twenty-year-old male partner threatened to harm the paramedics and he was arrested and had a knife and cannabis in his possession. Paul Bentley, spokesman for Ambulance Victoria, said that violence against paramedics is unacceptable.
