On Friday the 02-11-12 at around 1.50 pm a seventy-year-old woman was struck in the back and had money stolen while she was withdrawing cash from a Frankston ATM. The male assailant is described as aged in his forties and of slim build.
The elderly victim reported since asking her bank to install CCTV where the incident occurred.
Steven Munchenberg, Australian Bankers’ Association chief executive, said robberies at ATMs were rare.
