On Friday the 4th January 2013 a sixty-four-year-old male was physically assaulted outside the Alfred Hospital in Prahran while picking his wife up from the hospital. The victim was involved in an altercation with the driver of a passing vehicle who grabbed the victim and threw him to the ground. The victim was treated at the hospital for minor injuries. The assailant is described as being of Pacific Islander appearance and aged in his thirties.
