On Tuesday the 26-02-13 at around 10.45 pm a twenty-three-year-old female victim was waiting at the front gate of an apartment block in Elwood when she was approached from behind by a male assailant. The assailant then proceeded to lift her skirt and indecently assault her. The female victim struck the assailant with a shopping bag she was carrying causing him to run away. Moorabbin SOCIT detectives are appealing for witnesses.
