On Saturday the 19th April 2014 at around 10.30 pm a female was sitting in her motor vehicle parked on Raleigh Street in Essendon when a male wearing a scarf over his face knocked on her window and told her to get out. The female initially hesitated at which time the offender produce a large knife and she alighted and the offender got into the motor vehicle and drove off. Soon after the car-jacking another male attempted to use the victim’s credit card at two service stations in Thomastown and in Reservoir.
