During late November to early December 2014 there have been a number of armed robberies in Mitcham, Templestowe, Vermont and Kew.
The most recent incident occurred on the 01-12-14 when at around 11.45pm a male entered the service station on Manningham Road in Lower Templestowe and produced a handgun demanding cash from the shop attendant.
On the 30-11-14 at around 9.00 pm a similar armed robbery took place at a fast food restaurant on Canterbury Road in Vermont.
On the 29-11-14 at around 10.40 pm a service station on Willsmere Road in Kew was also the victim of an armed robbery
On the 27-11-14 at around 9.00 pm a male entered the service station on Mitcham Road in Mitcham with a handgun and stole cash.
Police believe that the same offender is responsible for all four armed robberies and described him as being Caucasian, aged from forty to forty-five years old, around 175cm tall with a medium build.
