On the 21-09-16 at around 1.35 pm a forty-nine-year-old woman was sitting in her motor vehicle parked on Mavis Avenue in Brighton. A male approached her vehicle and opened the driver’s side door and threatened her with a pair of scissors demanding that she get out of her vehicle. The victim refused and attempted to struggle with the offender at which time he grabbed her arm and dragged her out of her vehicle before driving off in it. The offender was described as being of African appearance, around 185 cm tall and was wearing tracksuit pants, a blue top, light coloured runners and a cap. Police are appealing for public assistance from anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
