On Monday the 13-08-13 at around 9.00 pm two male assailants broke into the home of a sixty-seven-year-old male on Gage Street in Coleraine. Once inside the assailants tied the elderly victim up before proceeding to assault him. The assailants stole the victim’s credit cards and left the property arriving at the ATM on White Street in Coleraine at around 10.00 pm. The victim was treated at the Hamilton Base Hospital with facial injuries and a possible broken nose. Hamilton CIU police are investigating the incident.
