On the 06-09-12 at around 10.30 pm two masked male assailants broke into a home in Hawthorn while the lone resident was asleep. The assailants then physically assaulted the victim with a saucepan from the kitchen striking him to the head several times demanding money. The victim sustained lacerations to his head.
