On the 19-06-18 at around 10.30pm an unknown male offender armed with a bat gained entry into a home on Kurung Drive in Kings Park. Once inside the offender was confronted by a female resident whose purse the offender stole before fleeing in a motor vehicle. Police have since charged a twenty-six-year-old Mount Clear man with aggravated burglary, theft, criminal damage, assault with a weapon, handling stolen goods, aggravated reckless exposure of police officer to risk by driving and other traffic offences and was remanded to appear at the Melbourne Magistrates’ Court on 22 June 2018.
