On the 2-11-11 at around 9.40pm three men, two of whom were armed with knuckle dusters and a baseball bat, forced their way into the house on Nerrina Road. A fifty-seven-year-old man and a twenty-four-year-year-old woman were home at the time and managed to wrestle the offenders from the property. The two victims were threatened, with the offenders proceeding to damage their vehicle, front door and garage door. The offenders fled in what is believed to be a ute with a steel tray, toolbox and rack on the back last seen heading west along Nerrina Road. The man who had knuckle dusters is perceived as Caucasian in appearance and was wearing a black hoody with gold trims and tattoos along his knuckles. The second, who was armed with the baseball bat, is also perceived as Caucasian and was wearing a blue singlet and shorts. He wore a white bandage on his left forearm and had a tattoo on his right shoulder. The third man had short shaved sandy-coloured hair. He was wearing a T-shirt and carrying a black bag, similar to a medical bag, with a tube protruding from it. Ballarat police are keen to hear from any member of the public who may have any information in respect t to the aggravated burglary
