On Tuesday the 24^th September 2013 at around midday a male entered a Jewellery Shop located within the Murray Street Preston Shopping Centre and used a hammer to smash a glass display cabinet and steal jewellery before fleeing. The offender was driven from the shopping centre by an accomplice in an older white Mitsubishi Magna motor vehicle. Darebin CIU Police are investigating the aggravated burglary.
