On the 20-02-14 at around 5.40 pm a gang of armed intruders forced their way into a Preston home and physically assaulted the three occupants. One occupant, a fifty-seven-year-old male, sustained serious injuries and was treated in hospital. Police have since charged a thirty-four-year-old male over the incident.

Earlier that same day a fifty-year-old woman was the victim of an aggravated robbery at the Preston Mark car park. The female victim sustained cuts and bruises and cash was stolen from her handbag.
