On Tuesday the 24-07-14 a women aged in her mid twenties arrived at her South Yarra home at around 10.15 pm and parked her black BMW coupe in the carport. A male offender armed with a pair of scissors and wearing a balaclava and a single glove followed her from her carport and forced his way into her home. The offender demanded to know the whereabouts of the safe but when he was informed that there was no safe he tied the victim up and stole her motor vehicle and a small amount of cash from her purse. Stonnington CIU detectives are appealing for any information from the public.
