On Wednesday the 17-07-13 at around 2.00 am a thirty-three-year-old woman and her seventeen-year-old son were asleep in their Melview Drive home in Springvale when the female got up to go to the bathroom and was confronted by a male in the hallway of her home. The male assailant, describe as being in his mid thirties of thin build and with a shaved head, then fled with stolen items. Dandenong police are appealing for witnesses.
