On Friday the 01-03-13 at around 9.30 pm residents of a home on Sydenham Road in Sydenham called police following an aggravated burglary. Police from Sunshine and Keilor Downs Police Stations promptly arrived and arrested the assailant fleeing the scene carrying stolen items. The offender was then taken to the Sunshine Hospital as the result of minor injuries sustained while attempting to evade police and remanded in custody to appear at the Sunshine Magistrates’ Court.
