On the 26-06-12 at around 9.25 am a fifty-one-year-old man victim disturbed a robber in his mother’s Thornbury home resulting in the robber stabbing the victim to his abdomen and demanding to know where the money and jewellery was hidden. The assailant then stabbed the victim a second time before fleeing. The assailant was described as being Aboriginal and aged in his mid twenties.
