On the 05-05-12 an Elsternwick woman in her nineties was followed home from shopping and attacked and throw down stairs sustaining serious injuries before being robbed of cash. A similar incident occurred in Caulfield on the same day. On the 16-05-12 another elderly Brighton woman was also followed home from shopping before having her handbag stolen.
