On the 29-10-14 at around 11.00 am a thirty-one-year-old female was walking her dog through Cherry Lake Reserve in Altona when she was grabbed from behind by a male wearing a bandana. The offender put a knife to the female victim’s throat and attempted to drag her into nearby bushes. The offender was disturbed by a passing cyclist and fled the scene. The female victim sustained grazing to her right leg. Sexual Crimes Squad detectives are appealing for public information.
