Dandenong detectives are appealing for public assistance following three recent armed robberies in Dandenong.
The first armed robbery took place on the 03-09-15 at around 7.40am when a male offender entered the shop on Herbert Street and placed a bottle of alcohol on the counter before producing a knife and demanding cash. The shop assistant complied and the offender fled towards Stud Road.
The second incident took place on the 14-09-15 at around 8.15pm when a male offender entered a shop on Ross Street and placed a drink on the counter before lifting his top revealing a knife and demanded money. The shop assistants retreated and the offender took money from the till.
The third incident took place on the 17-09-15 at about 8.30pm when it is believed that the same offender entered a store on Ross Street and approached the counter with a knife and demanded money. The staff member complied and then chased the offender down Ann Street towards Stud Road.
Police believe the same man to be involved in all three armed robberies. The offender was described as being Caucasian or Middle Eastern in appearance, aged in his late teenage years to early twenties, of thin build, approximately 175cm tall with a pointy nose.
