On the 01-01-13 just after 1.00 am a male assailant entered a convenience store on Separation Street in North Geelong and purchased a drink before producing a knife and threatening the Shop Assistant demanding money.
On the 03-01-13 just after 3.20 am a male assailant entered a convenience store on Settlement Road in Belmont and went to purchase a drink before producing a knife and demanded money from the Shop Assistant.
Police believe that the same assailant may be responsible for both robberies and described him as being aged between twenty-five and thirty years and of thin build.
