On the 29-01-16 at around 12.45am a masked male entered a service station on the Melton Highway in Hillside and threatened the attendant with a weapon demanding cash and cigarettes. The offender then fled. Later that same morning, at around 3.05am, two offenders armed with a weapon smashed the front windows of a female victim’s motor vehicle which was parked on Stadium Drive in Keilor Park whilst she was asleep inside stealing a beach bag containing cosmetics. The offenders were perceived to be Caucasian and were wearing black balaclavas and gloves and fled in a red hatchback with no number plates. Brimbank Crime Investigation Unit detectives are appealing for public assistance following two armed robberies.
