On the 17-06-17 at around 3.20pm two boys, one with a knife, approached the victim in Parklands on Oriel Road in Heidelberg West demanding his mobile phone before fleeing through the park with the phone
On the 17-07-17 at around 7.30pm the victim was walking along Beauchamp Street in Preston when he was surrounded by five males, one producing a knife, demanding money before assaulting the victim and stealing his backpack and mobile phone. The offenders then left the area by bus.
On the 18-07-17 at around 4.00pm the victim was walking along Southern Road in Heidelberg West with another person when they were approached by four boys and two girls demanding cigarettes. A scuffle occurred resulting in the victim being punched to the face before the contents of his wallet was stolen.
On the 18-07-17 at around 5.45pm the victim was riding his bike along the Darebin Creek Trial when he was struck to the head and when he stopped and was surrounded by six masked youths armed with large sticks demanding his backpack.
On the 18-07-17 at around 7.00pm the victim was walking along the Darebin Creek Trail when approached by eight youths who demanded his wallet and mobile phone before being stuck to the head and his property stolen.
The North West Metro Serious Crime Taskforce are investigating the armed robberies.
