On the 15-06-16 two male offenders, aged seventeen and twenty-one-years, and armed with weapons were arrested by Brunswick police following several armed robberies on taxi drivers that evening in the Coburg and Brunswick areas.

At around 10.00 pm a taxi driver was threatened on Sydney Road and the offenders fled with cigarettes.

At around 11.40 pm the offenders assaulted a second taxi driver to the head in De Carle Street Brunswick stealing his phone and cash.

At around 2.00 am attacked a third taxi driver in Carron Street.
Shortly afterwards police arrested the offenders in a fourth taxi near Carron Street.
