Detectives from Fawkner Crime Investigation Unit are appealing for public assistance following an armed robbery in Ascot Vale on Friday (26 October).
On the 26-10-18 just before 10.30pm a man entered the pharmacy on Union Road in Ascot Vale and approached the counter making demands for the pharmacist to hand over medication. The offender pulled out a small firearm from his pocket and pointed it at a staff member and threatened her. The staff member handed over a quantity of medication and the man fled the store on foot to a vehicle parked outside the store.
The offender is perceived to be Caucasian, approximately 188cm tall and was wearing three quarter length shorts, a blue long sleeve top and a white beanie with sandals.
