On Sunday the 21-10-12 just after midnight three male assailants robbed and physically assaulted a thirty-seven-year-old male victim in Fitzroy North just after leaving the Lord Newry Hotel. The victim was followed by the three assailants in a motor vehicle who used a taser gun to subdue him before stealing his possessions and fleeing in their early model Ford Falcon motor vehicle. The victim sustained a dislocated shoulder and was treated at the St Vincent’s Hospital.
