During December 2011 up to fifteen Service Stations and Convenience Stores across Melbourne including North Fitzroy, Preston, Northcote, Brunswick, Mickleham, Reservoir, Fawkner, Heidelberg Heights, Kingsbury, Tullamarine, Epping and Thomastown are believed to have been robbed by an assailant with a tomahawk or a knife.
