On Friday the 3rd May 2013 at around 9.00 pm two men entered the Mansfield Street Milk Bar in Berwick armed with a baseball bat and demanded cash from the shop owner’s thirteen-year-old son. The assailants violently smashed a cash register and computer screen resulting in the forty-year-old shop owner coming to his son’s aid. The offenders then stole some goods before fleeing. Dandenong Embona police are appealing for any witnesses to the armed robbery.
