On the 12-07-18 at around 1.00am a twenty-five-year-old Mooroolbark man was driving a female friend home when they were followed by two other motor vehicles onto Gonella Crescent in Bundoora. Several male offenders then approached the victim’s car and attempted to drag him and his female passenger out while assaulting him with a metal object. The male victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The twenty-five-year-old female passenger from Bundoora was not injured. The victim’s car keys were stolen during the incident. Mill Park Serious Crime Taskforce detectives are investigating the armed robbery but no arrests have been made to date.
