On the 01-09-17 at around 9.30 pm two males armed with a handgun and carrying a pink shopping bag entered a Milk Bar on Balaka Place in Bundoora. The armed offenders threatened staff but were challenged by a shop assistant armed with a broom before they fled on foot empty handed. The offenders were last seen running north across Grimshaw Street towards Cameron Parade.
