On the 25-08-12 at around 3.40 am six masked assailants entered the Burnley Train Station armed with baseball bats and demanded keys from a security guard to access the security room which they were given. A train driver arrived during the robbery and keys were also demanded from him and he also complied. On the 17-08-12 at around 4.30 am four male assailants broke Hawthorn Railway Station and stole numerous items.
