On the 30-07-13 just after midnight a male offender armed with an axe entered a service station on Maroondah Highway in Chirnside Park and threatened the two service station attendants demanding cash. The offender was given money and then fled the store. Police described the offender as aged in his early twenties, caucasian and of slim build.
