On Wednesday the 19-09-12 at around 3.00 am two male assailants armed with a meat cleaver and a knife entered the McDonalds Fast Food Outlet in Morwell. The two assailants forced the staff to empty money from a cash register before fleeing. One of the assailants was wearing a skeleton hoodie and the other a dark balaclava. On Monday the 17-09-12 there was another similar armed robbery in Morwell and police are investigating the possibility that the two incidents are linked.
