On Tuesday the 27-08-13 at around 11.30 pm a masked male armed with a meat cleaver entered the service station on Springvale Road in Glen Waverley and stole cash and cigarettes before fleeing on foot. Later that same week, on Thursday the 29-08-13, at around 7.00pm it is believed that the same assailant returned and again committed the same crime. Box Hill police are investigating the two armed robberies.
