On Monday, June 24th 2013, two girls entered an Indian Grocery Store on Old Geelong Road in Hoppers Crossing and threatened the shop assistant with a screw driver. The two offenders fled after the assailant called the police. Last month a charity donation box was stolen from the grocery store’s counter.
