On Monday the 08-10-12 at around 4.30 am a male assailant wearing a hoodie entered the Hoppers Crossing Service Station on Old Geelong Road armed with an axe. The assailant threatened staff with the weapon before fleeing with cash and cigarettes. Police believe that the assailant may have escaped in a white panel van motor vehicle.
