On the 23-07-13 at around 5.00 am two armed assailants wearing balaclavas waited for the KFC store on Sturt Street in Ballarat to be opened and then forced a staff person to give them access to the restaurant where the assailants stole money from the safe. The assailants then fled the scene with the staff person bound.
